After much planning and thought the site has been redesigned. And with vaild CSS! Instead of trying to fit in with all the other domains, meandraine.net will simply be herself. Who says you can’t give domains a gender? I doubt the site will make much sense, and why should it? I don’t.
And on that note, a ramble.
Yesterday night I became an ebay member. That’s right folks, I have crossed over to the darkside. Now, why would I allow myself to be taken by this evil, evil, site? Because I like collecting things I have no business owning in the first place. Like a street sign that says “Angelina Jolie”. No, I didn’t buy it, but the fact that I looked at is sad. Very sad. And if I wasn’t saving my funds for a comic(this is just getting worse) I might have bought it.
A comic, you say? Yes, New Spring is being adapted into a comic book. The first issue won’t be released until November, however, a special convention preview…thing, will be sold online this Friday. I WILL HAVE ONE! If I fail in my quest, violence will find all those who took the chance of geeky happiness away from me!
*Ahem* On the 20th Hanson released their new album. It’s okay. This Time Around is better, in my opinion. But that’s just me. So if you’re a fanatical “Fanson” please leave me alone. I’m not in the mood to get yelled at by some white girl who has nothing better to do then follow a band around in the hopes that one day Zac will finally see they are meant to be. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the average Hanson fan. Hell, I’m one of them. But the girls who insist on spelling “its” as “ITZ” just piss me off. That was stupid when you were ten and it’s still stupid. And I don’t care how many concerts you go to, Taylor isn’t leaving his wife for you. He isn’t going to cheat on his wife with you. Chances are he doesn’t even like you. If he did you’d be friends by now, and he’d call you up once in a blue moon just to “chat”. But he doesn’t, does he? Nor do you get in the concerts for free, or backstage without a pass, begging, giving some roadie favors. The only thing sadder than a groupie is a wannabe groupie in denial.
